Oxford University
The resurfacing of four outdoor tennis courts was part of a 60 million pound project to redevelop the Oxford Iffley road sports centre site. The university wanted to upgrade the existing tarmacadam courts they offer on the site after extensive research they chose CONICA’s Pro Clay system.
The Iffley road complex first entered the history books in 1954, when Sir Roger Bannister broke the four-minute mile record running a race on a track located on the site.

30mm thick surface comprising of a base layer of clay chippings, mixed with a special binder and topped with clay sand.
