Major investment in CONICA’s UK recycling plant
Following months of planning and years of technical development, we started work this week on the construction of our new processing line that will produce recycled steel fibres for use as reinforcement in concrete.
This product will be manufactured using a brand new processing line which has been fully designed in house and will largely be fabricated by our own team – a superb accomplishment. We will leave the construction of the new building to a trusted partner, A1 Steel Buildings Ltd.
To make room for the new building which will house the line, we have had to relocate an existing fire station (including high capacity water storage tank).
This was not an easy task, but our highly skilled engineering and operations teams made it look easy. Congratulations to Jack Flanagan and Bob Patton for successfully leading another complex phase of the project.
We can’t wait to see this project completed and for all the hard work come to fruition.
