Teal blue and light grey 8 lane track in Guernsey

Agripower Limited has recently completed upgrades and improvements at Footes Lane Stadium in Guernsey.

Guernsey will host the Island Games in 2021, which will see around 3,000 competitors from 24 islands around the world taking part.  To ensure the island has the facilities to host this prestigious event, The Committee for Education, Sport & Culture, commissioned Agripower to complete a wide ranging redevelopment of the Footes Lane site.

One of the key improvements required was to replace the old 6 lane porous athletics track with a new IAAF standard impermeable ‘sandwich’ CONICA SW 8 lane track.  All works had to be completed within a very tight 19 week programme, but were delivered on time and to the Committee’s complete satisfaction.  To ensure that the facility really makes a statement, the track has been completed in a unique Teal Blue colour, with the internal D’s being completed using a Light Grey CONICA SP system.
