290m² of red EPDM was installed to create a running track on top of a 17 story-high office block in central London.
WHAT WE DID
Confidence that the surfacing was able to withstand strong winds and the heat and UV exposure from the sun was crucial. With its strong adhesion and flexibility, CONICA’s single-layer EPDM was an ideal solution. The product was used with a an aliphatic binder to protect against UV rays to withstand colour degradation over time – meaning the track will still be vibrant and in optimum condition for years to come, with minimal maintenance.

Outdoor wet pour
CONICA wet pour safety surfacing is designed to provide water permeable, decorative, durable and safe surfaces for outdoor play areas.
Wet pour surfacing is typically installed using two layers; a base layer of SBR recycled tyre rubber granule and a top layer of coloured EPDM granules. Both will be bound using a flexible, single part moisture curing polyurethane binder.
